Wird as-Sakran (Arabic: ورد السكران; “The Litany of as-Sakran”) is a well-known litany composed by Imam Abu Bakr al-Sakran bin Abd al-Rahman al-Saqqaf. It is recommended to recite it in the morning after Fajr and before sunrise, as well as between Maghrib and Isha. Among its reported benefits is protection from enemies and from those who seek to cause harm, whether among humans or jinn.

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ ❁
Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm.
In the name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful.
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَحْتَطْتُ بِدَرْبِ اللَّهِ ❁ طُولُهُ مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ ❁ قُفْلُهُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ ❁ بَابُهُ مُحَمَّدٌ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ ❁ سَقْفُهُ لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ الْعَلِيِّ الْعَظِيمِ ❁
Allāhumma innī aḥtaṭtu bi-darbi Llāhi, ṭūluhu mā shā'a Llāhu, qufluhu lā ilāha illā Llāhu, bābuhu Muḥammadun rasūlu Llāhi, ṣallā Llāhu ʿalayhi wa-ālihi wa-sallama, saqfuhu lā ḥawla wa-lā quwwata illā bi-Llāhi l-ʿAliyyi l-ʿAẓīm.
1. O Allah, I have fortified myself within Allah’s protective enclosure, its length is as Allah wills, its lock is “there is no deity except Allah,” its door is “Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah,” may Allah send prayers and peace upon him and his Family, and its roof is “there is no power and no strength except through Allah, the Most High, the Magnificent.”
أَحَاطَ بِنَا مِنْ ﴿بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ ❁ ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ ❁ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ ❁ مَـٰلِكِ يَوْمِ ٱلدِّينِ ❁ إِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وَإِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِينُ ❁ ٱهْدِنَا ٱلصِّرَٰطَ ٱلْمُسْتَقِيمَ ❁ صِرَٰطَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ غَيْرِ ٱلْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا ٱلضَّآلِّينَ ❁﴾
Aḥāṭa binā min ﴾bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīmi, l-ḥamdu li-Llāhi Rabbi l-ʿālamīna, r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīmi, Māliki yawmi d-dīni, iyyāka naʿbudu wa-iyyāka nastaʿīnu, hdinā ṣ-ṣirāṭa l-mustaqīma, ṣirāṭa lladhīna anʿamta ʿalayhim, ghayri l-maghḍūbi ʿalayhim wa-lā ḍ-ḍāllīn﴿.
2. He encompassed us with: “In the name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful. All praise belongs to Allah, Lord of all worlds, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful, Master of the Day of Judgement. You alone we worship, and You alone we ask for help. Guide us along the straight path, the path of those You have favoured, those who have neither incurred Your anger nor gone astray.” (1:1–7)

Sūrun, sūrun, sūrun.
3. With His wall (of protection), with His wall (of protection), with His wall (of protection).
وَآيَةُ ﴿ٱللَّهُ لَآ إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ٱلْحَىُّ ٱلْقَيُّومُ لَا تَأْخُذُهُ سِنَةٌ وَلَا نَوْمٌ لَّهُ مَا فِى ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَمَا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ مَن ذَا ٱلَّذِى يَشْفَعُ عِندَهُ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِهِ يَعْلَمُ مَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَمَا خَلْفَهُمْ وَلَا يُحِيطُونَ بِشَىْءٍ مِّنْ عِلْمِهِ إِلَّا بِمَا شَآءَ وَسِعَ كُرْسِيُّهُ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ وَلَا يَـُٔودُهُ حِفْظُهُمَا وَهُوَ ٱلْعَلِىُّ ٱلْعَظِيمُ ❁﴾
Wa-āyatu ﴾Allāhu lā ilāha illā huwa l-Ḥayyu l-Qayyūmu, lā ta'khudhuhu sinatun wa-lā nawmun, lahu mā fī s-samāwāti wa-mā fī l-arḍi, man dhā lladhī yashfaʿu ʿindahu illā bi-idhnihi, yaʿlamu mā bayna aydīhim wa-mā khalfahum, wa-lā yuḥīṭūna bi-shay'in min ʿilmihi illā bimā shā'a, wasiʿa kursiyyuhu s-samāwāti wa-l-arḍa, wa-lā ya'ūduhu ḥifẓuhumā, wa-huwa l-ʿAliyyu l-ʿAẓīm﴿.
4. And the verse: “Allah, there is no god but Him, the Ever-Living, the Self-Subsisting. Neither drowsiness nor sleep overtakes Him. Everything in the heavens and on earth belongs to Him. Who can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what lies before them and what lies behind them. They grasp nothing of His knowledge except what He wills. His Kursi encompasses the heavens and the earth, and preserving them does not weary Him. He is the Most High, the Magnificent.” (2:255)
بِنَا اسْتَدَارَتْ كَمَا اسْتَدَارَتِ الْمَلَائِكَةُ بِمَدِينَةِ الرَّسُولِ ❁ بِلَا خَنْدَقٍ وَلَا سُورٍ ❁ مِنْ كُلِّ قَدَرٍ مَقْدُورٍ ❁ وَحَذَرٍ مَحْذُورٍ ❁ وَمِنْ جَمِيعِ الشُّرُورِ ❁
Binā stadārat kamā stadārati l-malā'ikatu bi-madīnati r-rasūli, bi-lā khandaqin wa-lā sūrin, min kulli qadarin maqdūrin, wa-ḥadharin maḥdhūrin, wa-min jamīʿi sh-shurūr.
5. This verse surrounds us, just as the Angels surrounded the city of the Messenger, without trench or wall, protecting us from every destined decree, every feared danger and all evils.
تَتَرَّسْنَا بِاللَّهِ ❁ تَتَرَّسْنَا بِاللَّهِ ❁ تَتَرَّسْنَا بِاللَّهِ ❁
Tatarrasnā bi-Llāhi, tatarrasnā bi-Llāhi, tatarrasnā bi-Llāh.
6. We shield ourselves with Allah, we shield ourselves with Allah, we shield ourselves with Allah.
مِنْ عَدُوِّنَا وَعَدُوِّ اللَّهِ ❁ مِنْ سَاقِ عَرْشِ اللَّهِ إِلَى قَاعِ أَرْضِ اللَّهِ ❁ بِمِائَةِ أَلْفِ أَلْفِ أَلْفِ ❁ لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ الْعَلِيِّ الْعَظِيمِ ❁
Min ʿaduwwinā wa-ʿaduwwi Llāhi, min sāqi ʿarshi Llāhi ilā qāʿi arḍi Llāhi, bi-mi'ati alfi alfi alfi, lā ḥawla wa-lā quwwata illā bi-Llāhi l-ʿAliyyi l-ʿAẓīm.
7. (We seek protection) from our enemy and the enemy of Allah, from the support of Allah’s Throne to the depths of Allah’s earth, with a hundred thousand thousand thousand of “there is no power and no strength except through Allah, the Most High, the Magnificent.”
صَنْعَتُهُ لَا تَنْقَطِعُ بِمِائَةِ أَلْفِ أَلْفِ أَلْفِ ❁ لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ الْعَلِيِّ الْعَظِيمِ ❁ عَزِيمَتُهُ لَا تَنْشَقُّ بِمِائَةِ أَلْفِ أَلْفِ أَلْفِ ❁ لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ الْعَلِيِّ الْعَظِيمِ ❁
Ṣanʿatuhu lā tanqaṭiʿu bi-mi'ati alfi alfi alfi, lā ḥawla wa-lā quwwata illā bi-Llāhi l-ʿAliyyi l-ʿAẓīmi, ʿazīmatuhu lā tanshaqqu bi-mi'ati alfi alfi alfi, lā ḥawla wa-lā quwwata illā bi-Llāhi l-ʿAliyyi l-ʿAẓīm.
8. Its construction never ceases with a hundred thousand thousand thousand repetitions of “there is no power and no strength except through Allah, the Most High, the Magnificent.” Its resolve is never broken with a hundred thousand thousand thousand repetitions of “there is no power and no strength except through Allah, the Most High, the Magnificent.”
اللَّهُمَّ إِنْ أَحَدٌ أَرَادَنِي بِسُوءٍ مِنَ الْجِنِّ وَالْإِنْسِ وَالْوُحُوشِ وَغَيْرِهِمْ مِنْ سَائِرِ الْمَخْلُوقَاتِ مِنْ بَشَرٍ أَوْ شَيْطَانٍ أَوْ سُلْطَانٍ أَوْ وَسْوَاسٍ ❁ فَارْدُدْ نَظَرَهُمْ فِي انْتِكَاسٍ ❁ وَقُلُوبَهُمْ فِي وَسْوَاسٍ ❁ وَأَيْدِيَهُمْ فِي إِفْلَاسٍ ❁ وَأَوْبِقْهُمْ مِنَ الرِّجْلِ إِلَى الرَّأْسِ ❁ لَا فِي سَهْلٍ يَقْطَعُ ❁ وَلَا فِي جَبَلٍ يَطْلُعُ بِمِائَةِ أَلْفِ أَلْفِ أَلْفِ لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ الْعَلِيِّ الْعَظِيمِ ❁
Allāhumma in aḥadun arādanī bi-sū'in mina l-jinni wa-l-insi wa-l-wuḥūshi wa-ghayrihim min sā'iri l-makhlūqāti min basharin aw shayṭānin aw sulṭānin aw waswāsin, fa-rdud naẓarahum fī ntikāsin, wa-qulūbahum fī waswāsin, wa-aydiyahum fī iflāsin, wa-awbiqhum mina r-rijli ilā r-ra'si, lā fī sahlin yaqṭaʿu, wa-lā fī jabalin yaṭluʿu, bi-mi'ati alfi alfi alfi, lā ḥawla wa-lā quwwata illā bi-Llāhi l-ʿAliyyi l-ʿAẓīm.
9. O Allah, if anyone seeks to harm me, from jinn or mankind, from beasts or any of Your creation, whether human, devil, ruler, or evil whisperer, then turn their sight back in defeat, their hearts into disquiet, and their hands into helplessness. Ruin them completely from foot to head, so that they cannot cross plains nor ascend mountains, with a hundred thousand thousand thousand of “there is no power and no strength except through Allah, the Most High, the Magnificent.”
وَصَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَى سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَى آلِهِ وَصَحْبِهِ وَسَلَّمَ ❁
Wa-ṣallā Llāhu ʿalā sayyidinā Muḥammadin wa-ʿalā ālihi wa-ṣaḥbihi wa-sallam.
10. And may Allah send prayers and peace upon our master Muhammad and upon his Family and Companions.
﴿سُبْحَـٰنَ رَبِّكَ رَبِّ ٱلْعِزَّةِ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ ❁ وَسَلَـٰمٌ عَلَى ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ ❁ وَٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ ❁﴾
﴾Subḥāna Rabbika Rabbi l-ʿizzati ʿammā yaṣifūna, wa-salāmun ʿalā l-mursalīna, wa-l-ḥamdu li-Llāhi Rabbi l-ʿālamīn﴿.
11. “Glory be to your Lord, the Lord of Might, above what they ascribe to Him. And peace be upon the Messengers. And all praise belongs to Allah, Lord of the worlds.” (37:180–182)
فِي كُلِّ لَحْظَةٍ أَبَدًا ❁ عَدَدَ خَلْقِهِ ❁ وَرِضَى نَفْسِهِ ❁ وَزِنَةَ عَرْشِهِ ❁ وَمِدَادَ كَلِمَاتِهِ ❁
Fī kulli laḥẓatin abadan, ʿadada khalqihi, wa-riḍā nafsihi, wa-zinata ʿarshihi, wa-midāda kalimātih.
12. At every moment, forever, by the number of His creation, by His pleasure, by the weight of His Throne, and by the ink of His words.
