About Durood Khizri
Despite its brevity, it is regarded as one of the most profound forms of salawat and has long been recited in abundance by the pious. It is reported that the saint Hazrat Mian Sher Muhammad, renowned for his spiritual perfection, would recite it frequently and encourage his disciples to do the same, saying that although its words are few, their meanings are immense. Likewise, Hazrat Baba Faqir Muhammad Churahi of Chura Sharif and his disciples were known to recite it regularly.
