Dua 1: Seeking Allah’s Help When Facing an Enemy
Anas reported from Abu Talhah L: “We were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on a military campaign when we encountered the enemy. I heard him say, ‘O Master of the Day of Judgement, You alone do I worship and You alone do I ask for help.’ I then saw men falling to the ground as the angels struck them from the front and the back.”
يَا مَالِكَ يَوْمِ الدِّينِ ❁ إِيَّاكَ أَعْبُدُ وَإِيَّاكَ أَسْتَعِينُ ❁
Yā Mālika Yawmi d-Dīni, iyyāka aʿbudu wa-iyyāka astaʿīn.
O Master of the Day of Judgement, You alone do I worship, and You alone do I ask for help.
