Dua When It Rains

Dua 1: Asking Allah for Beneficial Rain

A’ishah J reported that when the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saw rain, he would say the following supplication.

Dua 2: Asking Allah to Send Rain

Anas I narrated: “A man entered the mosque on a Friday while the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was standing and delivering the sermon. He said, ‘O Messenger of Allah, our livestock have perished and the roads have been cut off. Supplicate to Allah to send us rain.’ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ then raised his hands and said:”

Dua 3: Asking for Relief from Heavy Rain

Anas I continued: “The rain continued for a week. The following Friday, a man entered the mosque while the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was delivering the sermon and said, ‘O Messenger of Allah, our livestock have perished and the roads have been cut off because of the rain. Supplicate to Allah to stop the rain falling upon us.’ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ raised his hands and said:”
