Dua for Wearing Clothes
Dua 1: Asking for Good and Protection When Wearing Clothes
Abu Sa’id al-Khudri I reported that when the Messenger of Allah ﷺ put on a garment, whether a shirt, cloak, or a turban, he would mention the garment and recite the following supplication.
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ خَيْرِهِ وَخَيْرِ مَا هُوَ لَهُ ❁ وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّهِ وَشَرِّ مَا هُوَ لَهُ ❁
Allāhumma innī as'aluka min khayrihi wa-khayri mā huwa lahu, wa-aʿūdhu bika min sharrihi wa-sharri mā huwa lah.
O Allah, I ask You for its good and the good for which it is intended, and I seek refuge in You from its evil and the evil for which it is intended.

Dua 2: Praising Allah When Wearing Clothes
Mu’adh ibn Anas I reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ taught that whoever puts on a garment and recites the following words will have his previous sins forgiven.
الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي كَسَانِي هَذَا الثَّوْبَ ❁ وَرَزَقَنِيهِ مِنْ غَيْرِ حَوْلٍ مِنِّي وَلَا قُوَّةٍ ❁
Al-ḥamdu li-Llāhi lladhī kasānī hādhā th-thawba, wa-razaqanīhi min ghayri ḥawlin minnī wa-lā quwwah.
All praise belongs to Allah, Who has clothed me with this garment and provided it for me without any power or might on my part.

Dua 3: Remembering Allah When Removing Clothes
Anas I reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “The means of concealing the private parts of the children of Adam from the eyes of the jinn when they are about to remove their clothes is to say:”
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الَّذِي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ❁
Bismi Llāhi lladhī lā ilāha illā hū.
In the name of Allah, besides Whom there is no god.
