Dua for Sick Person
Dua 1: Reciting al-Ikhlas, al-Falaq and al-Nas for the Sick
A’ishah J reported that every night the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would bring his palms together, blow into them, and recite Surah al-Ikhlas, Surah al-Falaq and Surah al-Nas. He would then wipe his hands over as much of his body as he could, beginning with his head, face and the front of his body, doing this three times. When the Prophet ﷺ became ill, Aishah would recite these surahs and wipe him with his own hands because of their blessing.
﴾Qul aʿūdhu bi-Rabbi l-falaqi, min sharri mā khalaqa, wa-min sharri ghāsiqin idhā waqaba, wa-min sharri n-naffāthāti fī l-ʿuqadi, wa-min sharri ḥāsidin idhā ḥasad﴿.
﴾Qul aʿūdhu bi-Rabbi n-nāsi, Maliki n-nāsi, Ilāhi n-nāsi, min sharri l-waswāsi l-khannāsi, lladhī yuwaswisu fī ṣudūri n-nāsi, mina l-jinnati wa-n-nās﴿.
