Supplication Before Intercourse
Ibn Abbas I reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “When one of you intends to approach his wife and says: ‘In the name of Allah. O Allah, keep Shaytan away from us, and keep Shaytan away from what You provide for us,’ then if a child is decreed for them, Shaytan will not harm him.”
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ ❁ اللَّهُمَّ جَنِّبْنَا الشَّيْطَانَ ❁ وَجَنِّبِ الشَّيْطَانَ مَا رَزَقْتَنَا ❁
Bismi Llāh. Allāhumma jannibnā sh-shayṭāna, wa-jannibi sh-shayṭāna mā razaqtanā.
In the name of Allah. O Allah, keep Shaytan away from us, and keep Shaytan away from what You provide for us.
