Dua for Debt
Dua 1: Supplication for Relief From Overwhelming Debt
Ali I reported that a slave under a contract of emancipation came to him and said: “I am unable to fulfil my contract of emancipation, so help me.” Ali replied: “Shall I not teach you words that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ taught me? If you had a debt as great as a mountain, Allah would settle it for you. Say:”
اللَّهُمَّ اكْفِنِي بِحَلَالِكَ عَنْ حَرَامِكَ ❁ وَأَغْنِنِي بِفَضْلِكَ عَمَّنْ سِوَاكَ ❁
Allāhumma kfinī bi-ḥalālika ʿan ḥarāmika, wa-aghninī bi-faḍlika ʿamman siwāk.
O Allah, suffice me with what You have made lawful so that I have no need of what You have made unlawful, and enrich me by Your bounty so that I have no need of anyone besides You.

Dua 2: Repaying a Debt
When repaying a debt, it is recommended to pray for the person who lent the money by saying the following words of blessing and gratitude.
بَارَكَ اللَّهُ لَكَ فِي أَهْلِكَ وَمَالِكَ ❁
جَزَاكَ خَيْرًا ❁
Bāraka Llāhu laka fī ahlika wa-mālik.
Jazāka khayrā.
May Allah bless you in your family and your wealth.
May He reward you with goodness.
