Dua Between Sujood
Dua 1: Asking for Forgiveness
It is Sunnah to say the takbir while rising from sujud and to continue it until sitting upright. Once seated, it is Sunnah to make dua. Hudhayfah I described the lengthy prayer of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and reported that between the two prostrations he would say, “My Lord, forgive me. My Lord, forgive me,” remaining seated for a length similar to his sujud.
