Dua After Tashahhud
Dua 1: Seeking Protection From Four Trials
Abu Hurayrah I reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said that when one completes the final tashahhud, they should seek protection from four matters.
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عَذَابِ جَهَنَّمَ ❁ وَمِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ ❁ وَمِنْ فِتْنَةِ الْمَحْيَا وَالْمَمَاتِ ❁ وَمِنْ شَرِّ فِتْنَةِ الْمَسِيحِ الدَّجَّالِ ❁
Allāhumma innī aʿūdhu bika min ʿadhābi Jahannama, wa-min ʿadhābi l-qabri, wa-min fitnati l-maḥyā wa-l-mamāti, wa-min sharri fitnati l-Masīḥi d-Dajjāl.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the punishment of Hell, from the punishment of the grave, from the trials of life and death, and from the evil trial of the Dajjal.

Dua 2: Seeking Protection During Salah
A’ishah J reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would make this dua during the prayer.
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ ❁ وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ فِتْنَةِ الْمَسِيحِ الدَّجَّالِ ❁ وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ فِتْنَةِ الْمَحْيَا وَالْمَمَاتِ ❁ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْمَأْثَمِ وَالْمَغْرَمِ ❁
Allāhumma innī aʿūdhu bika min ʿadhābi l-qabri, wa-aʿūdhu bika min fitnati l-Masīḥi d-Dajjāli, wa-aʿūdhu bika min fitnati l-maḥyā wa-l-mamāti. Allāhumma innī aʿūdhu bika mina l-ma'thami wa-l-maghram.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the punishment of the grave, and I seek refuge in You from the trial of the False Messiah, and I seek refuge in You from the trials of life and death. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from sin and debt.

Dua 3: Comprehensive Forgiveness
Ali I reported that the Prophet ﷺ would say this as the final supplication between the tashahhud and the taslim.
اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي مَا قَدَّمْتُ وَمَا أَخَّرْتُ ❁ وَمَا أَسْرَرْتُ وَمَا أَعْلَنْتُ ❁ وَمَا أَسْرَفْتُ وَمَا أَنْتَ أَعْلَمُ بِهِ مِنِّي ❁ أَنْتَ الْمُقَدِّمُ وَأَنْتَ الْمُؤَخِّرُ ❁ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ ❁
Allāhumma ghfir lī mā qaddamtu wa-mā akhkhartu, wa-mā asrartu wa-mā aʿlantu, wa-mā asraftu wa-mā anta aʿlamu bihi minnī, anta l-Muqaddimu wa-anta l-Mu'akhkhiru, lā ilāha illā ant.
O Allah, forgive me for what I have done in the past and what I may do in the future, what I have concealed and what I have made public, the excesses I have committed, and what You know better than I do. You are the One Who brings forward and the One Who puts back. There is no god but You.

Dua 4: Seeking Forgiveness and Mercy
Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-As I reported that Abu Bakr as-Siddiq I asked the Prophet ﷺ to teach him a supplication to recite in salah. The Prophet ﷺ then taught him the following dua.
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي ظَلَمْتُ نَفْسِي ظُلْمًا كَثِيرًا ❁ وَلَا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ ❁ فَاغْفِرْ لِي مَغْفِرَةً مِنْ عِنْدِكَ ❁ وَارْحَمْنِي ❁ إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْغَفُورُ الرَّحِيمُ ❁
Allāhumma innī ẓalamtu nafsī ẓulman kathīran, wa-lā yaghfiru dh-dhunūba illā anta, fa-ghfir lī maghfiratan min ʿindika, wa-rḥamnī, innaka anta l-Ghafūru r-Raḥīm.
O Allah, I have greatly wronged myself, and none forgives sins except You. So grant me forgiveness from You and have mercy on me. Indeed, You are the Most Forgiving, the Most Merciful.

Dua 5: Asking for Forgiveness, Guidance, and Well-Being
It is recommended to make this supplication at the end of the tashahhud.
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْعَفْوَ وَالْعَافِيَةَ ❁ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْهُدَى وَالتُّقَى وَالْعَفَافَ وَالْغِنَى ❁
Allāhumma innī as'aluka l-ʿafwa wa-l-ʿāfiyah. Allāhumma innī as'aluka l-hudā wa-t-tuqā wa-l-ʿafāfa wa-l-ghinā.
O Allah, I ask You for forgiveness and well-being. O Allah, I ask You for guidance, piety, chastity, and freedom from need.
